My little Nikon FG with 35mm f2.5 Series E. One of my favorite parts of the camera is the concentric shutter dial, film advance, and shutter button. The FG also has program mode prior to AIS.

A stealthed Leica M4-P Serial # 1588xxx. Most likely made in 1982, making it 31 years old. Sporting a Voigtlander-Cosina LTM 21mm f4 lens, a LH-1 Lens hood, and 21mm viewfinder. Yellow-green filter attached. The red dot removed and the skin has been patched up. Every speck of white engraving paint removed, even on the little R. Unpainted engraving shows microscopic brassing. A slight bit of brassing above the lugs. A small dent right under the film winder. A barely-there, shallow dent on the top plate.

Leica M6TTL with 35mm Summicron ASPH Sweet 12585 round vented hood. This hood works on most of the earlier 35mm and 50mm lenses. The 12526 square hood that came with the lens is crooked when mounted. This is sort of common. Can’t make the round one crooked though. Anyways… Green Cam-In soft release. Another B+W Yellow Green Filter. I like yellow green filters. Loaded with Kentmere 400.

My new NEX 6 with 16-50mm lens. No wabi sabi yet. I do have a dead pixel in the EVF, though not from my own doing (don’t be jealous.) Maybe I should line my bag with sandpaper. No wait, I should just use the camera more!

Fuji GW690  f=90mm F3.5. During its last CLA, the name ring had to be broken up to take the camera apart. Takes a 67mm filter and currently has a yellow-green filter attached. No cracks or dents on the body.

Hah, everything irritates me. Didn’t mean to offend you with my petty criticism! The M5 body type was a completely new design, to many Leica fans’ dismay, so I’m not sure if that would have worked.  The original M6 on the other hand, intro’d in 1984, shares the same body style as all the Ms except of course for the earlier mentioned M5.
