One of my favorite parts of the camera is the concentric shutter dial, film advance, and shutter button. The FG also has program mode prior to AIS.

During its last CLA, the name ring had to be broken up to take the camera apart. Takes a 67mm filter and currently has a yellow-green filter attached.

Hah, everything irritates me. Didn’t mean to offend you with my petty criticism! The M5 body type was a completely new design, to many Leica fans’ dismay, so I’m not sure if that would have worked. The original M6 on the other hand, intro’d in 1984, shares the same body style as all the Ms except of course for the earlier mentioned M5.
